A vehicle ended up on a resident’s balcony after a wild crash in Chino early Tuesday morning.

Preliminary information indicates that the car, a Mustang, was traveling at a high rate of speed when it crashed through a fence and careened into a riverbed around 12:30 a.m.

The car was then launched onto the second story balcony of a home on Medford Court, causing the home to sustain heavy damage.

Video obtained by KTLA shows the aftermath of the crash, with the mangled Mustang sitting on the balcony of the home as neighbors gathered nearby to get a look at the crash site.

One woman said she was in her room at her residence a street over when she heard a loud boom followed by her house shaking.

“I’m about a street over and I was just hanging out in my room when I heard what sounded like an explosion,” the woman, only identified as Ashlynn, said. “It kind of shook the house a bit and I thought an earthquake was starting or something.”

Four people were taken to a nearby hospital with injuries sustained in the collision; their conditions are not known.

It is also unknown if anyone inside the residence was injured.
