Orange County Soccer Club opens the USL Championship playoffs Saturday on the road.
OCSC (13-14-7) is the sixth seed in the Western Conference and will face third-seeded Memphis 901 FC (14-11-9) at 11 a.m. at Autozone Park Stadium (FDSN SOCAL).
The teams met twice during the regular season, with OCSC winning both – 2-0 on April 6 and 4-1 on July 6.
OCSC closed the regular season with an eight-game unbeaten streak (5-0-3) under new interim coach Danny Stone.
Stone is the third coach to lead OCSC this season. Morten Karlsen departed earlier for a job in Denmark. Paul Hardyman was promoted to interim coach, but he was removed in August. To add to the dramatic season, OCSC went through a five-game stretch without scoring a goal.
Ethan Zubak leads OCSC with 10 goals. Zubak, who started his career with the Galaxy, is in his first year with OCSC. Another former Galaxy Academy product Cameron Dunbar has four assists.
