The 10 Freeway is closed through Santa Monica after a fire erupted Wednesday morning.
The freeway is closed in both directions between the McClure Tunnel and 20th Street, the City of Santa Monica stated in a news alert.
Lincoln Boulevard is also closed in both directions at Olympic Boulevard.

There was no word on when the freeway would reopen.
Motorists were asked to avoid the area until further notice.
