Loved ones searching for missing Southern California teen

Loved ones and authorities are searching for a missing Southern California teenager.

Jayleen Jazmin Montrie, 19, has been missing since Oct. 7, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

She was last seen near the 14000 block of Adger Drive in Whittier with her German shepherd dog.

Montrie has a mental health condition and her family is very concerned as they have not heard from her since her disappearance. 

The teen, who is considered at-risk, is described as a Hispanic female standing 5 feet, 3 inches tall and weighing around 110 pounds. She has brown hair, brown eyes and a poem tattoo located on her back.

She was last seen wearing black leggings, a denim jacket and brown winter boots.

Anyone who has seen Montrie or knows her whereabouts is asked to call the LASD’s Homicide Bureau Missing Persons Detail at 323-890-5500.
