(KRON) — Evacuations are underway after a gas leak Thursday night in Walnut Creek, the Contra Costa County Fire Protection District told KRON4. Fire crews responded to 50 Tahoe Court at around 8:32 p.m.
Officials did not say how many residents were evacuated. A roughly two-inch gas line was ruptured in the Walnut Creek neighborhood, the fire department said.
No other information was immediately available. KRON4 is sending a crew to the scene.
