(KRON) – Massive amounts of marijuana were found in the car of a suspected under-the-influence driver, according to the Healdsburg Police Department.
At 1:18 a.m. on Saturday, Healdsburg police officers were dispatched to a single-vehicle crash near First Street and Piper Street. Responding officers learned that the car crashed with two occupants into a curb and was playing loud music.
Police determined the driver could have been under the influence of a substance.

A search of the car yielded 78.9 grams of methamphetamine and 7.31 pounds of marijuana.
The driver was identified as 35-year-old Covelo resident Ryan Roy Downey. Ukiah resident Courtney Luscko Hamilton, 40, was the passenger, according to police.
Downey and Hamilton were arrested for the following charges:
Possess/purchase for sale narcotic/controlled
Possess unlawful drug paraphernalia
Possession of a controlled substance
Possession of marijuana for sale
Downey was also arrested for driving under the influence of drugs, which is a felony.
