ChainFest, a celebrity-driven celebration of chain restaurants, will return to Los Angeles on Saturday, Oct. 5.

Tickets starting at $99 will go on sale 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 23, but a Cash App Visa presale began on Wednesday, Aug. 21.

ChainFest is a collaboration between B.J. Novak of “The Office,” chef Tim Hollingworth, former chef de cuisine of the French Laundry, joined by TV star Chrissy Teigen.

Dubbed the “world’s first gourmet chain food festival,” the event is an outgrowth of Chain, a West Hollywood restaurant that holds short-lived pop-ups that usually sell out rapidly. The food is usually elevated versions of food served in restaurant chains such as Taco Bell and Chili’s Grill & Bar.

This year’s ChainFest will feature collaborations with such partners as Cracker Barrel, Dutch Bros, Domino’s, Hot Dog on a Stick, KFC, Krisy Kreme, Panda Express, Red Lobster and White Castle, according to a news release.

It will also include a Trader Vic’s pop-up and a Pepto Bismol “relief station.”

The festival will be produced by Medium Rare, which did Shaq’s Fun House in Las Vegas before the Super Bowl.

The venue will be Row DTLA, 777 S. Alameda St., Los Angeles.

The first ChainFest was held last December and is the subject of a documentary on Roku.
