Breed: Tibetan spaniel
Age: 10 years
Sex: Neutered male
Size: 14 pounds
Chili’s story: Chili lost both eyes at some point and was severely underweight, weak and malnourished when he came to the rescue group. But his resilience is remarkable. He gains confidence every day, although his past confinement means that the world is brand new to him. Chili cannot navigate steps or doors yet. He prefers being carried to walking, but loves sniffing lawns and flowers and playing on the beach. He is a loving companion who always wants to be by your side. His ideal home will have someone there with him all the time. He is good with other dogs and children, as long as they approach gently and allow him to smell them before they pet him. Blind dogs adapt amazingly well and use their other senses to navigate. Chili is no exception.
Adoption cost: A donation of $175 is requested to offset some of Chili’s veterinary expenses
